단국대학교 한국어학당 학생들과 함께 특별한 하루를 보냈습니다. 한국어 수업의 일환으로 50여 명의 외국인 학생들이 시사쿡을 방문해 한국 문화를 직접 느끼고, 한국 요리를 체험하는 시간을 가졌어요.
역시 빠질 수 없는 대표 메뉴는 김밥과 비빔밥!
세계 여러 나라에서 온 학생들이 삼삼오오 모여 김밥을 말고, 나만의 비빔밥을 만들어보며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 재료의 이름을 한국어로 외우고 따라 말해보는 모습이 인상 깊었고, 각자 개성 넘치는 플레이팅도 재미있었어요.
요리를 하며 서로 자연스럽게 대화가 오가고, 자신이 만든 요리를 자랑하며 웃는 모습에 저희도 덩달아 행복해졌답니다.
"직접 만든 김밥이 이렇게 맛있을 줄 몰랐어요!" "비빔밥은 정말 예술이에요!" 학생들의 반응 하나하나가 참 따뜻하고 소중했습니다.
짧은 시간이었지만, 한국 음식과 문화를 함께 나눈 아주 특별한 시간이었어요. 이런 시간이 학생들에게 오래 기억될 수 있기를 바랍니다.

We had a truly special day with students from Dankook University’s Korean Language Institute. Over 50 international students visited SisaCook to experience Korean culture through a hands-on cooking class.
Of course, we couldn’t leave out Korea’s two most iconic dishes — Kimbap and Bibimbap! Students from all around the world gathered in groups to roll their own kimbap and create colorful, personalized bibimbap bowls. They learned the names of ingredients in Korean and practiced speaking while cooking — it was fun and interactive!
We saw so much creativity in how each student arranged their dish, and so much joy in tasting the food they made.
Laughter filled the room as students shared their plates and exchanged stories in multiple languages. One student said, “I didn’t know kimbap I made myself could taste so good!” Another added, “Bibimbap is like art — beautiful and delicious!”
It was amazing to see everyone connect through food, beyond language and nationality. For many, this was their first time cooking Korean food — and they did a fantastic job! We hope this experience helped them feel a little closer to Korean culture.
