뉴질랜드는 몇 대 대학을 제외하고는 전문대학이라고 알려진 Technology 대학에서 요리학과를 운영하고 있습니다.

지난 11월 9일 오전 11시
뉴질랜드 대사관 주최로 뉴질랜드 교육 관련 온라인 안내가 있었습니다. 
뉴질랜드내 대학과 어학원 그리고 중고등학교에서 직접 ZOOM 을 통해서 안내와 소개를 해주었습니다.

뉴질랜드를 가는 방법은 여러가지 루트가 있죠.
1. 관광비자
2. 학생비자
3. 워킹홀리데이비자

우선 학생들이 생각해볼 수 있는 것은 이러한 방법이 있습니다.

우선 뉴질랜드를 알아야겠죠.
1. 뉴질랜드는 여어와 마오리어가 공식 언어로 되어 있습니다. 
2. 뉴질랜드는 프랑스의 절반 크기 뿐이 안됩니다. 
3. 뉴질랜드는 아름답고 멋지면서 안전한 국가입니다.
4. 뉴질랜드의 음식문화는 남태평양 섬의 특징답게 해산물이 풍부합니다.
5. 서양나라를 선호하지만, 미국, 호주 등에 비해서 조용한 나라입니다. 조용한 나라와 도시를 원하는 분들에게 많이 추천해드리고 있습니다.

타 서양국가중에서도 안전하고 깨끗하며, 조용한 나라입니다.  
뉴질랜드에서 한 번 공부해보면 어떨까요 ?

뉴질랜드 교육 세미나 다녀왔습니다.

이번에 약 30 여 개의 고등학교, 대학교, 전문 교육기관이 참가하셔서

다녀왔습니다. 

대사관에서 하는 행사라서 그런지, 

대사관님, 사무관님 등 많은 정부 부처 분들도 참가하셨습니다.

식사까지 푸짐하게 준비해주셨습니다. 

오전 10시부터 16시까지. 

장작 6시간을 내리 참가하였습니다. 

요즘 실정과 필요한 정보들을 대화 형식으로 진행해주셨습니다. 

MC 광대님의 사회로 진행해서

재밌게 진행한거 같습니다. 

뉴질랜드 대사관 행사에 더욱 많은 뉴질랜드 학교들이 참석을 많이 하면 좋을거 같습니다. 
정말 뜻 깊은 행사였습니다. 
학교 많은 분들을 직접 뵙지 못하고 몇 개 학교만 만났습니다.

코로나 상황을 겪으면서 많은 학교들이 문을 닫거나, 
여러 학교들이 통합을 하거나, 
새로운 학교를 오픈하거나 
이런 상황을 지나다 보니, 
인터넷에 있는 학교들이 아직 활동을 하고 있는지도 정확하게 알 수가 없어서, 
이번 기회에 정확하게 운영하는 학교들을 알아 볼 수 있었습니다.

일본에서도 뉴질랜드에 관심이 많아서, 
일본에서 진행한 뉴질랜드 박람회도 성공적으로 마쳤다고 합니다. 
한국 학생들도 이제 하나 둘씩 유학을 준비하면 좋을거 같습니다.

코로나 상황에도 규모는 작아졌지만, 꾸준히 어학원을 진행했다는 이야기를 들었습니다.
현지 학생으로만 충분하지 않았을텐데,
다시한 번 뉴질랜드 유학도 생각해볼 수 있는 시기가 되었습니다.
